A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding a new section, designated §18-2-47, providing for the State Board of Education to send a budget for review to the Legislature.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 2. STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION.
§18-2-47. Budget review by Legislature.
Annually, the State Board of Education shall provide a complete and in-depth budget for review to the Legislature. This budget shall include all monies received and spent by the State Board of Education.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require the State Board of Education to provide a budget for review by the Legislature.
